New Website: Expeditionary Training

Expeditionary Training is a new civilian training organization launched by Les Winner and Scott Butler, both former Marines and part of the team instrumental in planning and executing the Moons Out night vision shooting competition. Les and Scott saw a need to bring education on the use of night vision technology to the civilian sector and formed Expeditionary Training to execute that vision.

Bringing the vision to life involved getting a website setup to advertise their night vision training courses and to sell tickets for said courses. Cardinal Acres Web Development created a WordPress website leveraging event management plugins consisting of The Events Calendar, Event Tickets, and Event Tickets Plus. WooCommerce supplies the e-commerce functionality and connectivity for Stripe payment processing. Finally, Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce allows for custom fields during the checkout process so that event attendees are aware of and agree to special terms & conditions for attending the training events.

The WordPress platform will easily supply any additional functionality for the website that should be needed in the future via a robust and extensive ecosystem of plugins.
